After completing his residency, Dr. Burgess continued at the Naval Medical Center as Chief of Anatomic Pathology while also serving as an instructor of Pathology at the Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk. He came to Lewisville, Texas in 1981 and has practiced in and around the Lewisville area since that time.
