Cytology is a highly regulated medical field requiring skilled cytotechnologists to assess the thousands of cells on each slide and render accurate interpretations of cellular changes. Our laboratory is inspected and accredited by the Laboratory Accreditation Program of the College of American Pathologists (CAP).

A comprehensive quality control and quality improvement program is strictly followed. All pathologists and cytotechnologists engaged in the interpretation of cellular abnormalities at ProPath participate in the various proficiency testing programs of the CAP.
