UnitedHealthcare’s New Requirement for Prior Authorization
Effective August 1, 2020
A few months ago we posted information regarding UnitedHealthcare (UHC) new requirement effective July 1, 2020 related to testing for Bacterial Vaginosis, Group B Strep, etc.
Per UHC’s Molecular & Genetic Testing Notification policy, the following tests require PRIOR AUTHORIZATION which must be performed from the referring clinicians’ office.
