Biography

ProPath, a Sonic Healthcare anatomic pathology practice, is pleased to include Cindi Snowden, M.D., as a part of its dynamic medical staff. She is a double board-certified pathologist who brings professional medical experience to her position.

Dr. Snowden graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. She subsequently earned her medical degree from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in Lubbock. She served her residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. She completed two fellowships. The first was a cytopathology fellowship at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, followed by a surgical pathology fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.

Dr. Snowden started as a part-time pathologist in the gross room of Cunningham Pathology in Birmingham, Alabama, before taking the position of pathologist at Central Texas Pathology Laboratory in Waco. She was then a pathologist at Thyroid Cytopathology Partners in Austin, TX. During this time, she also served as backup in the frozen section of Quest Diagnostics at Northwest Surgical Hospital in Austin. Following these positions, she was hired as a pathologist by ProPath.

Dr. Snowden published a peer-reviewed article in Transfusion Medical Reviews and has presented abstracts at professional conferences.
